Bowen therapy for Hashimoto’s

Bowen therapy for Hashimoto.

Hashimoto disease has been more common recently. The diagnosis is Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the thyroid gland. Being autoimmune, the exact causes of this insidious disease are not fully known. There are hypotheses, one of which is that it is inherited. Another – it is a consequence of an infection. Third – the stress in the modern way of life. Fourth – swollen anger, untold truth, lack of self-love. No matter how crazy it sounds, if we do not love ourselves, our body materialises this affliction in the form of diseases.

The thyroid gland is responsible for many important internal processes – metabolism, hormonal balance, regulation of the nervous system and accordingly – our mood. In order to be in harmony and tone, we need to take care of our body, mind and spirit every day. Thinking what we eat, because it’s the fuel of our body. Be careful what we say and think, because it is the fuel for our vital power (chi and prana). Breathe properly. Drink plenty of water. Let us calmly accept everything that happens to us and remind ourselves that we have sown it alone. Balance is easily achievable but more difficult to hold.

Any disease that comes to us is our friends. It appears to give us an important message – what we did wrong. And if we want to fix them, depends entirely on us. Some people are startled by the onset of illness, as if they are awakening. And when they start looking for the root cause, they will start changing. Because they want it, and they believe they are living their own destiny. They will find internal forces and do it. Others receive disease after disease, a sign after a sign, but remain blind and deaf to them. They choose to be a victim and someone else to take care of them, someone else to be responsible for their actions or inactions. These are just facts. I’ve seen people of both types.

But let’s go back to Hashimoto.

Let’s look at the common symptoms of this disease:

weight gain for no apparent reason

constipation

dry skin

pain in the muscles and joints

interruptions in the woman’s monthly cycle

Husky voice

fatigue

feeling cold

depressive states

digestive disorder – flatulence, heartburn, stomach ache

hair loss

swelling of the thyroid gland

memory problems

increased cholesterol and more.

Hashimoto’s disease (named after the inventor – a Japanese doctor) is a condition of low hormone production, as in hypothyroidism. This affects the whole organism, but the fastest the metabolism and the cardiovascular system. In practice, self-destruction of the thyroid gland from white blood cells occurs due to elevated levels of antibodies. This reduces the regulatory functions of the gland over metabolism. At the onset of the disease, it is difficult to diagnose and is often detected after 5-10 years. Over time, the symptoms become stronger and more pronounced.

What to eat with Hashimoto

The diet of this disease is particularly important. Restricting the intake of certain foods (such as gluten, dairy, canned foods) is vital because it helps the body with the process of digestion and weight regulation. It is important to consume fresh foods – fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, at the expense of highly processed and preserved foods that make digestion difficult.

Hashimoto and Bowen

Not a small percentage of women who come to Bowen therapy have this disease. Have one or more of the symptoms diagnosed after blood and hormonal studies. Some are in their early stages, others for years.

Bowen therapy helps the whole body by balancing it. There are specialised procedures for the specific problems – hormonal imbalance, impaired digestion, cycle problems. These are the most visible changes the patient may feel. After some Bowen procedures some of the problems or all of them have been greatly improved. There is also an improvement in mood, dealing with stress, better tone.

There is no exact recipe about how many procedures are needed to cure a person, and whether complete cure can be achieved. Every person is different and his body progresses at different speeds. It also depends on how long the disease is – the sooner, the better. The disease can go into remission for an unlimited period of time until something provokes it to exaggerate. But Bowen therapy can significantly reduce hormone treatment, and in some cases be completely replaced.

From the moment you discover / diagnose this disease, or even doubt it (if you have some of the symptoms), you are actively working with yourself. Make sure you eat healthier, move around every day, drink plenty of water, and change your mind-set.

Here’s what Louise Hey says in one of his books:

“Probable Cause of Increased Thyroid – Excessive disappointment because

you are not allowed to do what you want. Always consider others, not yourself.

A New Thought Model – I restore my power to its true place. I make my own decisions. I am satisfied.

Thyroid gland – problems: probable cause – Depression. There is never time left

to do what I want. When will be my turn?

A New Thought Model – I move beyond the old limitations and now allow myself to express myself freely and creatively.”

    1. Hello Angela Bishop,
Thank you for your comment. I can not say I have particular protocol, I always listen what the needs of the client are. But the respiratory procedure and TMJ can be applied to improve the conditions of hashimoto desease.
